Oh for Goddess's sake, this is getting not only ridiculous but also truly despicable. As much as I do not agree with taking biblical motifs as "history," do I want to see Christians arrested for arguing their faith? Or for pointing out the truth about Islam? In a supposedly civilized country like Great Britain?! Absolutely not!

Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang are charged with breaching Section 5 of the Public Order Act – causing harassment, alarm or distress. If convicted, they face fines of £2,500 each and a criminal record.
The Muslim woman was staying at the Bounty House Hotel in Liverpool, which is run by the Vogelenzangs, when a conversation arose between the hoteliers and their guest about her faith.
It is understood that among the topics debated was whether Jesus was a minor prophet, as Islam teaches, or whether he was the Son of God, as Christianity teaches.
Among the things Mr Vogelenzang, 53, is alleged to have said is that Mohammad was a warlord. His wife, 54, is said to have stated that Muslim dress is a form of bondage for women.
The conversation, on March 20, was reported by the woman to Merseyside Police. Officers told the couple that they wanted to interview them over the incident.
How absolutely disgusting and appalling. The United Kingdom appears to be utterly lost. Authorities there are consistently coddling Islam--with all its brutality and infidel-hatred--while persecuting the natives for following their own culture.
It is high time for protests in the streets against this hideous injustice of appeasing Islam. I hope that my friend Pat Condell has some choice words on this latest vile action on the part of British authorities.
The bottom line is that Islam insults ME and every other sensible person on this planet. Wake up, folks!

It is not the fault of the ordinary Muslim in the street that such ridiculous laws are passed. Protest yes! But consider who deserves to be lambasted before taking sides here. There are many "extemists" in Islam as well as every other faith and ideology. To single out any particualar one seems rather unfair.
Let's get to the root of this scaremongering by the people behind the scenes pulling the strings and playing the music for "extremists" of every colour to dance to. The unsavoury and unnecessary blaming of decent Muslims everywhere for the crimes of the makers of silly laws is not called for. (No, I am not a Muslim, but I can see the global game playing out here)

The hotel proprietor called Mohammed a warlord. That is too complimentary in nature and is a misnomer. He was nothing more than an epileptic, a mentally deranged individual who gathered around him in the city of Medina the lowest of the thieves. Forming a gang, they staged raids on unarmed trade caravans and remote, unprotected settlements, killing all males and kidnapping the women and children; the women to be raped and kept as sex slaves.
Mohammed and his followers were nothing less than bandits. His raids, sanitized as "battles" by modern Muslim authorities, as though fought for a just cause, were unprovoked attacks on helpless citizens. Killing and raping his way across Arabia, he vented his uncontrolled lust whenever the opportunity arose.
Realizing the power of religion, he invented one to keep his men in line; that was the real beginning of Islam. He proclaimed himself a prophet of allah, saying he had a direct line of communication to heaven, thus elevating his position to that of god's messenger.
People must read an unadulterated history of this very mentally sick man to understand the depth of his evilness.
Why various authorities enact stupid laws to protect this vile sect at the expense of the indigenous population of Great Britain is beyond me.
Muslims are an easily manipulated people, actually, childishly and slavishly accepting without question everything they are taught about their self-styled prophet Mohammed, repeating and repeating line after line of Koranic verses, mimicking the sounds of 7th century Arabic, which few even understand.
I learned a lot from an ex-Muslim, who, like me, is an atheist, but he keeps it secret, fearing what might happen to him should his apostasy be exposed.
These zombies enter our countries and live right in our midst, with one goal in mind -- to take over the area and turn it into an Arab ghetto, and they are very successful at it.
They emigrate to our shores, most can't speak a word of English, they immediately go on welfare, they are underachievers, they refuse to assimilate with the local population as stated in the Koran and, more importantly and ominously, they breed like rabbits, as the Koran is against contraception and abortion. While the average Western family has about 1.8 children per family, the present rate for Muslims in the US is 3.4. In time, most will be home-grown, that is, full-blown US, or UK or European citizens and cannot be deported, at which time they will beat us, not on the battlefield, but at the polls.
If that should happen, and it is a very distinct possibility, Western culture will come to an end and women everywhere will be in for a very rough time.
Show a little ankle -- 50 lashes; a little hair on the forehead -- 50 lashes; if you are raped, it is your fault (for not staying home where you belong) -- 100 lashes, possible stoning to death; adultery -- stoning to death. There are heaps more punishments, but I think you get the picture.
I forced myself one day to see for myself (on the Internet) a clip showing the stoning of a man accused of adultery. He was buried up to his neck in a hole in the sand, and the participants were hurling rocks at his head with great determination. To be honest, I didn't have the guts to sit right through that clip. It is unbelievable and horrifying to think that something like this can happen in the world today (2009), but it really is happening, and frequently.
Or the gay youths and the young 15-year-old girl hanged at the end of a crane jib in Iran.
I can't think of enough epithets to amply describe this vile ideology, for in reality, that is what it is. Islam is synonymous with evil!
Yet we are not only tolerating this abberation, but we actually welcome its followers to our shores.
We thought Naziism, Fascism and Communism were bad. Baby, you ain't seen nothing yet, but you will if Islam continues on its present path!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not a Christian nor a Muslim, but these religions infighting as portrayed in their holy scriptures is really something one should keep out of schools, it teaches the leaders of tomorrow exactly how to make war in all its gruesome details, children growing up in these circumstances need no military training, they receive the best while growing up!

I can see the vitalizing power of the Sun, feel the warmth and life of the Earth. That's enough "religion" for me. As for the rest, people may beleve what the wish..so long as it doesn't interfere with my life. The most violent of all the world's religions, past and present, are the Abrahamic religions. I have seen photographs depicting signs at demonstrations by Muslims in England saying: Kill the Christians, Kill the Jews. That is acceptable and legal. No court in GB would do something about it.
