Any demolition ppl? Why dont demolition teams simulate attacks (eg jet feul and maybe explosives for plane impact) on simular buildings and see if the results are the same? 2nd, no, 9/11 was not an "inside job". There were no bombs in the towers, and it was a airplane that hit the Pentagon, not a missle.

|2010-08-13 23:32:04 Genefortunato? umm, I don't know how to tell you but I live in the town where 16 of the 48 core columns were shipped to so their maker RES 'Roanoke electric steel" could analyze them and test them, John Hancock was the owner, shortly after seeing first hand the columns for himself he put his company up for sale. Now at the base the core columns were four inches thick! roughly two feet by twenty inches, "my best guess as I could not touch them to measure them" four inches thick! and this fails three hundred feet, beneath a slow burning aviation grade diesel fire? I think not! I was there when the man saw them and went ashen in his face because after 60+ years in the steel business he knew what took out the towers just by looking at these columns. That his company made, but would not speak just hung his head and drove off and began liquidating assets so your best conclusion is your own but I tell you it could not be done with out excessive man power, and demolition supplies!
Odd how just roughly one year before this happens a movie called swordfish comes out about rogue agencies that commit acts of terrorism, with secret funding that blame it on other nations and peoples?! Then boom it hits just as SAC NORAD was doing drills for just such an situation, and now we find out the major players in this profiteering scheme, are the very same responsible for the Gulf disaster now playing out!

Just because you believe strongly in something doesn't make it true. And calling others "idiots" whom you disagree with indicates you've reached the end of your ability to engage the subject intellectually.
You are making the positive statement that something happened, it is incumbent upon you to provide the evidence for it. "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." (Carl Sagan) What is your evidence? (note, rhetorical) I'd suggest you don't have any. In fact, the majority of experts who've examined this do not agree with you.
I appreciate your thoughts Gene, but perhaps a good idea would be to cut back on the drinking and instead try and educate yourself in the subject matter.

You did not present any facts. You made an observation and formed what you believed was a logical conclusion from that observation. Not questioning what you saw, I'm disagreeing with the assumptions you've drawn as a result of those observations.
Basically, you are mistaken in your conclusions and demonstrating how this is is rather easy illustrate. In the example of the steel core members of the towers, for instance, you suggest that explosives were used to initiate the collapse cutting the steel core members at their base. Simply put, you are wrong. There weren't any explosives used in the towers and there weren't any "cut charges" used on the central steel core members at the base of the towers to initiate the collapse.
This is apparent for a number of reasons. First, in multiple videos of the collapse incident no explosives are heard. In every controlled demolition I've seen there are an orchestrated series of audible explosions immediately preceding the demolition. Nothing like this can be heard on 9/11, not even from 1 reporter broadcasting live just yards from the building. Obviously the amount of explosives necessary to cut multiple steel columns which are 4 inches thick would be massively loud. Nothing like this is heard. In fact, no demolition explosions at all can be heard preceding the collapse as there should be from any conventional controlled demolition.
Second, the towers collapse began from the point of impact and proceeded downward in a "top down" fashion, controlled demolitions are initiated from the bottom up, exactly opposite of what was seen. Last, and possibly most convincingly, a number of photos and videos document the steel central core columns still standing hundreds of feet into the air for several seconds after all the floors had collapsed around them. Obviously if these steel core members were standing after the building collapsed around them, the core members could not have been a factor initiating the collapse. The 9/11 "truther movement" is riddled with obvious misconceptions like this.
I am not as gullible as you suggest, nor do I believe everything government institutions tell me. I know full well what rogue agencies are capable of. I'd suggest to you, Gene, that it is possibly you instead who have insulated yourself from opinions which reside outside the prescribed confines of your conspiratorial ideology. Don't take my word for it. There are multiple studies done by leading experts in their field on the 9/11 event. None of them suggest a controlled demolition. Spend a little time outside conspiracy websites or conspiracy videos and try and gain an outside perspective. Talk to an actual architect, structural steel engineer, fire science or controlled demolition expert. I don't pretend to know all the answers regarding 9/11 and I'll allow for the possibility years from now some additional information may be revealed. But what you are suggesting simply didn't happen and is in reality enormously insulting to our country and the memory of the lives lost. A conspiracy of this magnitude would require the silence and cooperation of thousands of individuals, it defies credulity to believe all of these people are "in on it".
This website and academics like D.M. Murdock are dedicated to independent, unconventional people who can think for themselves. I'd encourage you Gene to make an investment outside the narrow confines of the 9/11 conspiratorial subculture. As even a modest exploration of the body of scholarly, credible and responsible material available would dispel much of the confusion the truther movement is perpetuating.

Yes, and it was an inside job, in that it was aided, abetted and planned, by elements within the U.S. military/intelligence command including the White House. But also, it was a joint venture involving several other foreign nations, including intelligence operatives from Israel and Saudi Arabia.
