This show was very disturbing. China is draining Lake Michigan to fill its aquifers? Of course, China has polluted much of its land and used much of its water making cheapo tchotchkes for American convenience, so who is to blame?
It is not the fault of the American or other populace for wanting to live comfortably, and many of us have been agitating for hemp for decades just so we could do that without destroying the planet. Unfortunately, our efforts have been repeatedly blocked by the world's elitists. Therefore, the ball rest squarely in the court of the elite and their corporations, once again, who line their pockets at the expense of the common people.

I had heard about issues with bottled water in the early 90's stating that is was unregulated and ecologically unsound to use plastic bottles for water as they ended up in landfills. That was enough for me to not use bottled water unless it was an emergency.
Now, I learn from your report that landfill issues were only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak. Well, again... thank you for making the issue so clear. But please, what can be done about it if even not buying their bottled water makes no impact in their bottom line since we are not even their target consumer? How can this, or other corporate hijacking of resources be stopped when seemingly, they just about control it all?

They should be paid the average salary of the average worker in America. No more getting rich from being a lawmaker for 50 years. You do the job for a year and go home.
Because someone in office has a lot of perks when they leave office. They got to work for many of the contacts they have made. They can give speeches and make millions. They have a nice retirement and losing their job is not such a bad thing. In many cases it's better for their pockets.
