These videos have been around a while, but wow! Give this guy a Nobel prize - and a bulletproof vest! Good for him for having the wisdom and courage to tell the truth. Perhaps there is hope for this world after all... Except that Dr. Ibrahim Al-Buleihi is now a former official in Saudi Arabia, having retired. Says he:
The individualism of the Arab has been erased in this society.... He is incapable of thinking independently.
The interviewer asks, "So 'team spirit' prevails?" To which, Al-Buleihi responds:
It is the spirit of a herd, not of a team. It is the spirit of the herd that cannot free itself from the captivity of the prevailing culture.
While he doesn't mention Islam - he is a professed devout Muslim - one could certainly make the case that Islamic fanaticism erases individuality. And what other "prevailing culture" could it be that turns Arabs into BORG?
In 2006, in the second video below, Al-Buleihi basically stated that the Muslim purveyors of violence and terrorism against Americans and Europeans were not "deviant" but were "the product of our culture" and that there is a "fundamental flaw in our culture that leads to this behavior."
That fundamental flaw would be the fanaticism he previously describes, which is "a culture that believes the other does not deserve to live, and is an absolute enemy with whom no understanding is possible." Is he not describing Islamic culture, which teaches that non-Muslims are "less than" and should be subjugated? Quick, call this guy an "Islamophobe!"
"I shall cast terror into the hearts of the infidels. Strike off their heads, strike off the very tips of their fingers."
Elsewhere Al-Buleihi remarks:
Western civilization has reached the summit of science and technology. It has achieved knowledge, skills, and new discoveries, as no previous civilization before it. The accomplishments of Western civilization cover all areas of life: methods of organization, politics, ethics, economics, and human rights. It is our obligation to acknowledge its amazing excellence. Indeed, this is a civilization that deserves admiration.
One must ask, then, why are Islamist and Wahhabi Muslims, whose ideology largely emanates out of Arabia and the Arabian Mohammed's example, bent on destroying all of those superior and admirable values? And why is Dutch politician Geert Wilders being persecuted and prosecuted for saying exactly the same things?
This man Ibrahim Al-Buleihi proves that there are enlightened and decent human beings in every culture, even if they may be buried under layers of indoctrination or oppression. Such individuals need to find each other and come together to make this world a better place - by telling the bald truth.

What I am wondering is, "When and which Sharia court going to proclaim you to be beheaded for this blasphemy?" I only hope that the Arab world wakes up to the morning of Tunisia and Dr. Ibrahim Al-Buleihi should be regarded as a torch bearer for them.
The point is, "Can a blind be made to see the light?" He points to the same truth that the "Truth" needs to be rewritten; as Acharya, myself and so many more countless people (sane or insane) have been recommending relentlessly and painstakingly.
I wish you well Doc and your family. But the Arabic dawn seems to be too far long to arrive; as the age old belief has "veiled" their imagination power. Somewhere a beginning has to be made.
God bless
Dr. O. P. Sudrania
