mike luckovich bin laden cartoon Bin Laden: Goal is to bankrupt U.S.

"(CNN) -- The Arabic-language network Al-Jazeera released a full transcript Monday of the most recent videotape from Osama bin Laden in which the head of al Qaeda said his group's goal is to force America into bankruptcy."

This news is from November 1, 2004; however, it certainly appears that the U.S. has done everything it possibly can to ensure Bin Laden's goal comes into fruition.  You couldn't do much more to bankrupt America than what both the Bush W. did for 8 years and Obama admin is doing.

Geithner's New York Fed Pushed AIG To Keep Sweetheart Deals Secret

After Helping Gordon Gekko Evade the SEC, Will Geithner Finally Now Be Fired?

The Bush W. admin turned every problem into a major crisis. Obama seems incapable of turning that around - no help from Republicans, of course.  It all just smells like America is being set up for a take-over by the Muslim world when you see what's going on with the US dollar and sharia finance.  And certainly the Muslim world has been publicly announcing their global dominance over the west for yeras.  It looks to me like US, European and other western politicians are falling over themselves to help them out.  I guess they are in a hurry to turn the western world into 2nd class citizens.

The weakening of the U.S. dollar and economy all plays into the goals Bin Laden TOLD US ABOUT on the evening news just before the 2004 Presidential election which probably played a huge role in the re-election of Bush W. - Bin Laden loved Bush because he always played right into Bin Laden's hands waging a war in the way Bin Laden approved and being sure to put the US economy on the verge of collapse.

Dear Acharya, surely the financial collapse in America, as in other countries, has been fomented by the banking institutions. These have nothing to do with Islam but more likely adhere to Zionist principles. Well, that is what I am told! Keeping the memory of "bin Laden" alive is in the very interests of those who plot to demolish our economies as it gives them a bogey man to divert attention from themselves. Bin Laden almost certainly died a long time ago, possibly even before 911.

Thank you, dear Nancy, but in the first place, I didn't make that post. In the second place, you are reading much into the post and then making a wave-of-the-hand dismissal of a very germane issue.

Both my guest commenter and I are well aware of all of the conspiracy theories regarding 9/11 and Obama bin Laden. We are also well aware that he could have been both a CIA asset and long dead. We understand well that his role in 9/11 could well be as controlled opposition of an elite group of puppetmasters who have little better to do than rabblerouse, more or less viciously throughout history.

In my book The Christ Conspiracy, I discuss the elite group of very wealthy people who contrived to enslave the world under a Jewish-flavored cult. That cult is running out of steam, obviously. Next comes the Islamic cult, which surely was started not by God but by another elite group of wealthy people - quite possibly cozy with other elite groups of wealthy people. And so on.

In any event, to say that our current economic meltdown has "nothing to do with Islam" constitutes the height of naivete. Perhaps you need to study the voluminous links provided in this very thread. If it helps with comprehension, we can say that "the Zionists" are doing it purposely.

"They" are surely destroying our current system, likely to replace it with sharia banking. That's exactly where we are headed.

All those who voted for George W. bush in 2004 should be held accountable for it. I cannot forgive anyone for the re-election of Bush which ended with the near collapse of the economy. He was the worst President in US history. He should never have been President in the first place. He embarrassed America on a constant basis and the entire world lost respect for the US because of it.

Now, Obama is trying to clean up the mess the Bush admin made. And those who made the mess (Republicans) are refusing to help like little juveniles. The Dems aren't perfect but the Republicans certainly do not deserve any votes in 2010. I'd rather see an Independent President in the future.

All those links discussing sharia banking in the original post really have me wondering. I didn't realize how serious all that really was. Thanks for compiling that list. It does begin to look like Bin Laden is on the same team as political leaders driving down the US dollar, collapsing the economy and bankrupting the US. Why? Saudi Arabia and the entire Muslim world certainly is wealthy due to America's oil money.

Why would you post anything from RON PAUL. Of all people RON PAUL.
  • Acharya S
What do you have against Ron Paul? The man is a brilliant Constitutional lawyer - he is highly worthy of respect.

What do you know of him?

"The end of democracy and defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of the lending institutions and moneyed incorporations.

The Bank of the United States is one of the most deadly hostilities existing against the principles and form of our Constitution. The system of banking is a blot [defect] left in [unsolved by, and unfortunately tolerated by] all our Constitutions [state and federal], which if not covered [eventually solved and revoked] will end in their destruction. I sincerely believe that banking institutions are more dangerous than standing armies; and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity is but swindling futurity [on the greatest possible scale]."

I love Ron Paul. A lot of people say he's a nut case, but the fact is that he is one of the few people who are sane. Thanks for sharing this post -- people need to see this.

it's me again! Usama's motives become apparent when we look at the symbolism of his targets. as an isolated crackpot he no doubt knew that he could not take on the US in the open field of battle, but he knew that he could instill fear in the minds of the passified western nations and bring them into a war that has cost the poor old workers/taxpayers trillions of dollars, and many lives. i am no political scientist, but i am a poet, and see the universe perhaps a little differently than most. what i do see in the events of september 11, 2001 is symbolism. the twin towers are a symbol of money, not just because they were part of the 'world trade centre', but also because the root cause of their collapse was the melting of the steel framework of the building due to the fuel fed fires, not the initial crash of the planes - iif the planes had little fuel on board the towers would still be standing. metal is part of our history and has entwined itself into the very fabric of our existence, particularly as a motif of wealth and self reflection, although that is changing due to the digital age where wealth is now just represented in data. copper, in the form of natural bronze, was the first metal we found and worked its way into our mythology as the 'fiery serpent', because it came out of a hearth stone that melted in the heat of the coals, perhaps fanned by a fortuitous wind, in a little river of molten bronze (copper + tin) that looked ever so much like a snake - and even bit like one when touched and hissed like one when doused with water. we could represent that snake with the letter 's', then overlay it upon the image of the towers - voila, the dollar sign! copper was used as mirrors, that's why the copper laver in the old Hebraic cult system was made of mirrors supplied by the women. the copper laver, with the water in it forming the reflective surface, is the talking serpent of the garden myth, i.e., self reflective device that only repeats what the self observer says! the word in the text translated as serpent is nachash, and carries the meaning of polished copper. i wrote a big poem about the events of that day based on four years of independent reasearch and reading, but it never went anywhere - nobody gets poetry any more...sigh. anyway, i have many more thoughts on this topic which i would gladly share, but space does not permit here. maybe on my blog one day!
    cheers:-)

Ron paul is dead on. The fall of the roman empire was they spread out there armies and taxed the hell out of the farmers to keep the armies afloat. Democray also swung to far to be realistic.

Its funny how history does repeat itself. During the fall of the Roman empire private armies where thriving business. Does that ring a bell?

The bankers that made mistakes should pay with the removal of themselves which would be purchased like a garage sale to a more conservative bank who was not greedy and held responsibilty.
How come no one is in jail?

    I like Ron Paul

I am a fan of true Oligarchy are you?
  • Semt  - Islamic take over.....not yet
The wealth of the Islamic world has come from oil and as the Dollar has been the currency of choice for oil dealings and its price is still quote as such (with the Euro knocking at the door), how can a Dollar (or Euro) collapse help the Islamic world, their wealth is in Dollars, if the Dollar goes so do they? The new world power China is closely tied to the Dollar, can’t imagine that they will sit back and watch this Islamic take over happen......

Feder, Professor of Archaeology, Central Connecticut State University, Frauds, Myths, and Mysteries: Science and Pseudoscience In Archaeology

Murdock's Who Was Jesus? had been available to me." —Bob Semes, Retired university professor of History and Religion, Founder and Executive Director of The Jefferson Center

"In addition to presenting in Suns of God the troubling history of religious wars in an easily followed narrative, Acharya goes a step further, explaining as only she can how a once-simplistic idea has been carried into our modern world with terrible and nearly unimaginable results." —Rev. Dr. W. Sumner Davis, Fellow, Royal Astronomical Society; Member, American Geophysical Union; Affiliate, New York Academy of Science

"Ms. Murdock is one of only a tiny number of scholars with the richly diverse academic background (and the necessary courage) to adequately address the question of whether Jesus Christ truly existed as a walking-talking figure in first-century Palestine." —David Mills, Atheist Universe
