Folks, in my multiple endeavors, I am always in need of assistance in a variety of ways.

Naturally, the most pressing issue is financial assistance. But in this thread we will also provide ways in which people can help who are not in a position to assist financially.

Since October 2007, Google has been penalizing my main website, TruthBeKnown.com. I have tried on numerous occasions to discover what the problem is and to have Google stop suppressing my site. I have repeatedly contacted Google, to no avail, as Google simply refuses to inform me as to what the problems are.

Because of this suppression of TBK, I lost about 80% of my traffic - and a significant chunk of my income. This fact means, of course, that I've been surviving online all this time without Google, the biggest search engine! And nobody can find my site - a real shame!

Acharya's work demonstrates these religious ideas either to be based on myth or to be faulty, having no basis is reality and, therefore, totally unnecessary.

Help Get Acharya's Books in Libraries Worldwide

Libraries get their budget for new books at the beginning of each year. So, the first of the year is the best time to put in requests for new books because you are more likely to have your request fulfilled as opposed to later in the year when libraries tend to run out of money since their budget for new purchases each year runs out and when it's gone that's it. Most libraries have accounts with Amazon so, since Acharya's books are all available at Amazon that won't be an issue. Also, you don't always need to have a library card to make the request - it depends on the library policy.

It may be wise to check first to see what, if any, of Acharya's books they might already have. Whatever books they don't have be sure to make a request for the library to get them. It's as simple as putting in a request by filling out a short form and it won't cost you a dime.

Contact the Media about Acharya's Books and Work

Help with advertising and promotion is greatly appreciated since we don't have a high dollar advertising/promotion PR campaign. Practically everything is word of mouth.

Please feel free to contact major media to spark an interest in Acharya's work. You could join your local newspaper forum or write a letter to the editor or opinion section. Or you could write to magazines, like Time and Newsweek, or TV shows like Oprah and Hannity & Colmes. (Acharya's appeared on Alan Colmes's radio show.) You could also contact shows like the Discovery Channel, as well as the History Channel and National Geographic Channel. Or, how about "60 Minutes" - that's my favorite show.

Students in comparative religion and theology courses might want to recommend Acharya's work to their professors. It's important to us and to the future that her work is out there and discussed among the scholars and academicians.

This falls in line with remarks by Earl Doherty, author of The Jesus Puzzle, in his review of Acharya's book The Christ Conspiracy:

It would be great to have threads at Christian forums discussing "Who Was Jesus? Fingerprints of The Christ".

Obviously, we're not advising you to go spamming forums with Acharya's work, but if you belong to forums or groups, and you want to share what you've learned, please do feel free!

If you come across a blog - by, say, subscribing to Yahoo News or Google News - where you can post a link in a relevant topic, please do so!

Some blogs, like Blogger/Blogspot.com require that you use HTML, so here's a code example:

Obviously, you don't want to post spam or something that's not on topic, but if you find some place where you feel like making a comment, by all means, don't be shy. When we stumble upon blogs, through news alerts and so on, we are sometimes struck to post comments with links to other sites that are relevant.

There are also many news sites, like Newsweek magazine and so on, that allow comments to be posted, often with links in them. Sometimes these require HTML code to hotlink like above, but others times you can just put in the link, and it will hotlink automatically.

Many of the blogs and news sites allow you to post anonymously and without registering, so that's very easy.

You'll want to link to the specific page on Acharya's site that you think is important and relevant, and put the relevant "anchor text," which is the language between the HTML codes: <a href="http://www.tbknews.com">Anchor Text</a> The anchor text would be a brief phrase representing what the link is about.
