1. Registering to vote as a Green is a way of bringing about the kind of world you want. Party affiliation is like a vote, only more powerful and cumulative, as it doesn't begin and end with an election. Join the party that stands for your values, instead of one that is the 'lesser of evils'
I plan on registering as a
Libertarian because of Ron Paul. But I would support the Green Party since their values matches mine.

2. Registering Green makes a clear and effective political statement. The more people who register Green, the stronger the Green Party will be, and the more all parties will take green issues and green voters seriously.*
In the 2012 U.S Presidential Election, Jill Stein, the Green Party candidate, received 0.36% of the popular vote.
BUT, the Green Party controls one seat in the Arkansas House of Representative. Frederick Smith controls that seat.

That's a really good thing! The Party cannot be bought off.

5. The Green Party represents most Americans' views on issues like the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars, health care, a healthy environment, campaign finance reform, corporate power, genetically modified foods, and others. See The Biggest Media Sin, by Sam Smith of the Progressive Review and read the Green Party Platform.
Except for Conservatives/Right-wing. I know that FOX News will slam the Green Party. I like most of the Party's platform, although there are some things I am uncertain of...
I also like it when the Green Party respects Separation of Church and State.
Quote:
The United States Bill of Rights guarantees freedom of religion. We affirm the right of each individual to the exercise of conscience and religion, while maintaining the constitutionally mandated separation of government and religion. We believe that federal, state, and local governments must remain neutral regarding religion.

6. The Green Party is the party of peace. Both the Democrats and the Republicans are supported heavily by the weapons, fossil fuel and nuclear industries and others. Greens are activists for peace, health, justice, and the well-being of present and future generations. We believe in sustainability and thinking seven generations ahead."
I also support the idea of "Non-interventionism". Wikipedia quotes:
Quote:
Non-interventionism is a foreign policy which holds that political rulers should avoid alliances with other nations, but still retain diplomacy, and avoid all wars not related to direct self-defense. This is based on the grounds that a state should not interfere in the internal politics of another state, based upon the principles of state sovereignty and self-determination.
