Again you're stupid assumptions are silly. I just spent an hour in conversation with a super cool activist that I've known for at least 10 years. Well I've been corresponding with Dr. Daniel Levitin about his new book "This is your brain on Music" (Dutton, 2006)

The U of Minnesota Music Library just got a copy and so I sent Levitin this response:

My only gripes. In your tonal theory I didn't see the 1-4-5 interval system documented as a universal system for transcultural music. And the book has a lot of similarities with Leonard Meyer -- the gestalt emphasis for example -- but he only gets mentioned by p. 243? haha.

Anyway way to take on Pinker -- what a Stinker he is with his swiss cheese metaphor for music.

The chinese state that the emotions are linked to the organs:

Liver is anger or wisdom, kidney is fear or will power, heart is over-happiness or love, lungs is depression or... can't remember.

Still the full-lotus (which is a Tetrahedron resonance of 3:4:5 harmonics transforms the emotions to open up the cerebellum and then the pineal gland.

Just think how the circadian rhythms are synchronized for fire fly mating rituals based on their bioluminesence from electrochemical resonance.

The circadian rhythms of the human move every two hours per organ!!

Looks like it's payola for the Witnesses DVD -- well so if you are so down on the Disclosure Project -- why not give a little write up why THIS Witnesses DvD is so much better than the press conference of best witnesses at the D.C. Capitol.

OK I checked out Prometheus Rising. It looks interested but too superficial. I've read the Illuminatus Trilogy and some of RAW's other books and wasn't impressed.

The best of RAW is when he disses Buckyfuller as a Solar Dynasty God!

Because otherwise RAW is too pro-science. RAW conflates quantum mechanics with post-modern psychology.

There's absolutely no angle there -- it's just passive cynicism. It's stupid geeky white male Sci Fi type humor. Too much ego -- too much fear of nature.

The best book on alchemy is "Taoist Yoga: Alchemy and Immorality" trans. by Charles Luk.

You're not going to find it in a typical alchemy discussion -- which is why it's the best -- because people who don't read that much or dig too deeply aren't going to connect with it.

Alchemy is nothing less than sex sublimation -- Freud did not understand sublimation -- neither did Jung.

The problem with the West is that it lost yoga.

What is yoga -- extreme pressure on the thighs through resonance to transmute the JING -- the sex fluids -- into electrochemical energy and then into electromagnetic CHI and then into light as SHEN (spirit).

So you have to train to sit in full lotus and the only way to do that is through solitude -- practicing tai chi (standing active exercises) and the "small universe" -- the 12 points along the outside the body focused on while sitting in a chair.

the 12 points are equivalent to the 12 notes of the music scale based on the cycle of fifths, the ratio 2:3 which is Yang turning into the ratio 3:4 which is Yin.

Take Garlic once again -- that's all I stated plus added cayenne and chlorella and spirulina.

The book came out in 1979 -- it defends Einstein as some hero. Sorry but Einstein lived off his refigeration patents. Einstein's Theory of Relativity may be accurate but that doesn't say much since the framework of the measurements are self-objectifying. Just read H.M. Collins and the book "Was Einstein Right?" -- I have a blog entry on that I'll give a link too.

Einsteins' source for his relativity was railroad clock schemes by the French -- to compete for better industrialization. Ho-hum -- Einstein was not God.

Anyway one of the comments on Prometheus Rising is that RAW's close version of Timothy Leary's model needs to be improved -- the reader calls for a left to right and right to left schema of brain dynamics.

Sure enough Stan Gooch provided that in 1980 with his brilliant "The Double Helix of the Mind" -- but Gooch is sort of a writer's writer.

Gooch isn't some flashy, soft-porn trendy paperback writer like RAW.

Gooch actually challenges his reader.

Yet even Gooch doesn't accept real yoga. Gooch has a psychological hangup on the 7 to 9 chakras.

Well that's because Gooch doesn't use music as a model so he can't understand ratio theory.

Nevertheless Gooch isn't so po-mo writer like RAW that only serves to promote Late Capitalism.
