Brookings Institution survey on the most trusted news sources:

Quote:
"The think tank did a study about immigration and the media that contained within it a broader question for Americans about which news outlet they trusted most."

Jon Stewart Is A More Trusted News Source Than MSNBC, Study Says

Very sad to see most people get their information from Fox News. Although, regarding the issue of immigration, I understand because MSNBC never does tell the whole story, they give stories based on emotional appeals. For example, MSNBC always make a big case out of splitting up families and claim that the US should allow them to be here even though it's their parents own fault for coming here knowing full well they were breaking the law in the first place. So, in essence, MSNBC tries to blame everybody else rather than acknowledging the responsibility of the illegals for breaking the law in the first place. Nobody wants to see families broken up but, that's the risk they took. Just try to make that same argument in almost any other country and they will laugh in your face, especially Mexico. Same on the Islam issue. But, in my view none of the news sources tell the truth about immigration or Islam.

You'll never hear them discuss the Mexico Constitution:

1) Foreigners may not participate in political affairs in any way. (Article 33)
2) Mexicans shall have priority over foreigners for employment, and Mexicans citizenship by birth is considered indispensable for certain jobs such as airline crews, military officers, chiefs of seaports and airports. (Article 32)
3) Only Mexicans by birth or naturalization may acquire ownership of land, water or their appurtenances (Article 27)
4) Any Mexican private citizen may arrest someone committing a crime such as an alien in the country illegally and hand him or her over to authorities for prosecution (Article 16)
5) Immigrants may not become lawmakers, cabinet officers, or a Supreme Court Justice, or even a clergyman, but must be a native born Mexican. (Articles 55, 91, 95 and 130)

Re Fox, I'm also reminded of: Outfoxed and Fahrenheit 911
