If we believe in an all-seeing Jesus, yes.
.
Among other extraordinary powers, we are told that Jesus can see the future.

If this be true he would have seen all the perverted priests at the beginning of Christianity, and now, and how they read about a about a naked boy (be-loved disciple?) touching Jesus in the Gospels or in the Secret Gospel of Mark and obviously found support to their perversions..

In the earliest Greek gospel of Mark a boy follows Jesus and touches him before getting naked and fleeing. In the new versions it is usually the disciples who the boy is said to get naked in front of, although we were just told that they all fled.

Perhaps this is allegory for the naked Adam before he listened to the wise advice from the snake, perhaps the authors showing there connection to Serapis or to the Ambatha sutta of the Buddhists. Whatever the case as Jesus was in a hurry to save the world, if he really could see the future he may have taken a little more time to expound on the meaning of the naked boy so there could be no doubt in the minds of his followers. The same goes for other strange occurrences in the Jesus gospels, such as Jesus advice to become a eunuch. Although he may have meant to advise his followers to remain as sexually pure as eunuchs, his incomplete speech is, in my belief, often dangerous and subject to interpretation.

No. They are responsible for their own actions no deity or deities as any thing to do with it.

I often argue that Jesus is responsible for fostering boy-a-philia because when we read of the naked boy touching Jesus, or the disciples, Jesus should have explained the significance of this situation if it was symbolic. If his minds eye could see into the future he would have seen how some used the imagery of Jesus close to a naked boy as sanctioning boy rape, or how the Secret Gospel of Mark was also used by Catholic priests. I have no doubt that some of these priests saw the doublt-talk of Jesus about how he is above the law and does not need to pay taxes, although he tells peter to pay the tax.

Jesus also urges higher initiates to make themselves eunuchs, and to let us know that he meant it literally, although the sick comedy is missing in modern translations, the earliest Greek has Jesus ending his recommendation for castration with the words "Whoever is able to, MAKE ROOM, or SPACE"-OUCH!!

Also noted is that the previous phrasing is gender neutral and in light of the Gnostic texts and their Buddhist originals it becomes clear that Buddha, later known as Jesus, was asexual. But we find in the Buddhist texts mentioning of sex change just as we do in the Gnostic texts. Mary can make herself into a man just as Sagara the girl in the Lotus sutra who becomes a male Buddha.

ALso, to confirm that Jesus' command was taken literally we read of many early Christians cutting off their penis, which given the circumstances doesn't seem like a bad command for the Catholic priests. Whatever the case way they must 'cut it out'! Besides we all jumped on Sadam Husain for having a protected class.

"In Matthew chapter 19, verse 12, Jesus describes three types of eunuchs. He tells of "eunuchs that were born such from their mother's womb, and there are eunuchs that were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs that have made themselves eunuchs on account of the kingdom of the heavens. Let him that can make room for it make room for it."

I have no understanding of the connection between naked boys mentioned in this topic and sexuality. Perhaps the text I refer here is intended for those who see this connection. If people today, like some of you who write about a sexual link with the image of a naked boy, there is a probability that earlier times have been similar. Considering such factors this text make some sense. If images of a naked boy/child put your frame of mind to anything sexual, you should
" make yourselves eunuchs on account of the kingdom of the heavens "

Jesus made me do it.....
Satan made me do it.....
Bogeyman made me do it....

How nice it is to find excuses for own actions and personal responsibility.

Vallhall,

I only brought up Jesus recomending castration because I believe it is dangerously incomplete, as with the naked boy.

If Jesus could see the future he would see those who used this to justify their terrible acts.

I do not blame Jesus, I do not even think he was real, but my point was to ask Christians if they think Jesus would be responsible.

You wrote;

""I have no understanding of the connection between naked boys mentioned in this topic and sexuality.""

Why do you think Christians and Jews and Muslims believe that Adama covered his male organ with a fig leaf?

Why do you think most of the civilized world covers their sexual organs?

same goes for the ancients.

You seem surprised that I question why a naked boy is in the gospels, if it was a little girl I would not bring up the Catholic priests as I think they most like young boys.

Let's hope so, but foolish "scholars" who continue to uphold the Jewish fairytales in the New Testament are not helping the issue.

I forgot to mention that there are parts of the Gnostic gospels that offer reasonable explinations for the naked boy in the gospels. such as this verse from the gospel of Thomas;

When will you be shown forth to us and when shall we behold you?” Jesus said, “When you strip naked without being ashamed, and take your garments and put them under your feet like little children and tread upon them, then [you] will see the child of the living. And you will not be afraid

This is not strange as often missing parts of the four gospels can be seen in the Gnostic texts.

Little Joey’s autumn dreams were filled rotten freaky screams
Reflecting on the years of past
A wretched priest, the spell was cast!

“O’ not to dam our mother his
Brother said” Bad luck befalls the calls of the Dead”

But I remember a sea of autumns past
Mama took the gun to shield me once at last!

A priest, or at least a priest he claimed to be
He had his way with her then he had his way with me

And he told his brother things are not what they seem
The gun was spent, our mama went, and so did gentle dreams

I do not blame her for the reasons she let him come and stay
I blame her for the seasons she would let him feast and prey!

I blame her for the rituals on witch he undertook
I blame her for her trust and it was in a book

Brother do not trust in a god or any nameless form
I will be your God I will lead you through the storm.

Does Jesus heal a child sex slave for his master! (Matthew 8:5 - 13)
The word translated as "servant" is 'pais' which is really "child-slave" and since this is the pais of paiderastia (love of boys) we may have another instance of Jesus being silent on things that today he is assigned to forbid. Same holds true for slavery and abortion, there is no instance of Jesus condemning such acts that frequently occurred, but we do find this earlier in the creed of the Greek doctors and even others before Jesus speaking against of slavery and classes.

But I do not blame Jesus' silence for all of the children raped by Christians since the formation of Christianity, certainly one of a sound mind could not read such a suggestion in the words of Jesus. But who said the earliest Catholics listened to Jesus? The only two words Jesus tells his listeners not to call themselves became a pop(e)ular title and name, Pope (father) and Agatha (good).

Other Christian perversions; .

OLD PROTESTANT prayer, “O’ that I had found thee, blessed Emmanuel; that thou wert with me in my bed, to bring delight to body and soul. Come and be mine”

Question 1.

They believe it for the same reasons as you do. They do not see understandings of today within context of history.

Go to older versions of religious books, you will see that what one time was "apron of fig leaves" have become today`s understanding as you say - A fig leaf.......

The Latin Vulgate:

et aperti sunt oculi amborum cumque cognovissent esse se nudos consuerunt folia ficus et fecerunt sibi perizomata

Translated:

And the eyes of both were opened. When they might'd recognized themselves to be naked, they stitched fig leaves and made coverings for themselves.

NB! In the Greek-English Lexicon by Liddell and Scott, perizoma is cited in a proverbial expression meaning to "practice an art with the apron on, i.e. superficially.

Question 2.

"Why do you think most of the civilized world covers their sexual organs?"

Such questions makes me uncertain if a common ground for debating exist. The civilized world... Bah! Humbug!

Loincloth are not, will never, and have never been trait of the civilized world as you defined it.

The civilized world covering their sexual organs! :

First I will start with famous picture of what is known as unknown Amazon tribe. Notice their loin clothing!

http://www.odt.co.nz/files/story/2008/0 ... Medium.JPG

And on we go, around the world, past to present:

Kaiapo Indians, Amazon
http://www.mongabay.net/images/wren/amerindians-0.gif
Tribe from Paraguay
http://lastdaysoftheincas.com/wordpress ... anding.jpg
The lovely African Masai
http://www.culturequest.us/maasaitribe/ ... rriors.jpg
Bushmen - What science reckons in general as origin of our species.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/3869 ... ushmen.jpg

I could go on and on, but point is proven.

And if there are wonders to why the covering of sexual organs are important, the answer is easily seen by rephrasing the question from a more objective perception.
What is the most fragile human organ concerning personal health and social health?

Again I can nothing but to advice people to try at their best ability to perceive the world in context with history. And history predates the defined date: Year 1.

I write this not to protect any religion, because I find any religion more or less similar to any other instrument of control. I write this to protect objective knowledge being replaced by another set of beliefs founded on old paradigms.

Dear VallHall,

I agree with you that covering your sexual organs does not make you "civilized". I should have put that word in quotes but I think you missed my point.

It's easy to blame something on some one or something that's not here to defend themselves. The way I see it a person is responsible for their actions no God or Jesus or Buddha can lay claim to this. I am assuming that this thread is in reference to the latest sex scandal involving the Roman Catholic Church, now if they follow suit as they have the last 2000 years they will find a way to cover it up. A tarnished image is something the Church cannot tolerate. I said in another thread here "Is the Roman Catholic Church foundation crumbling?"

Dear Star Burst,

You wrote

pray tell me does this mean that those who are "not here" are not responsible for any wrong doing?

Besides it seems clear that Jesus healed a boy-toy for his master!! Maybe that would be a good time to condemn sex with little boys?

I don't get your boy toy remark. Wrong doing is wrong doing. And Pedophiles should not have no rights! The Catholic Church needs to deal harshly with these Priests and other clergy who commit such acts but they won't they will sweep it under the rug until the mass hysteria subsides. What I don't get is how you can blame this on a figure that for all intents and purposes never existed, unless you are assuming that his teachings and other miracles claimed by the Bible played a role in it if that's the case I see where you are coming from.
