Considering this further, here is a next version. This mapping can be considered a
topology of faith in Jesus Christ to place various streams of thought against the two factors of belief in "The Jesus of History" (vertical axis) and belief in "The Christ of Faith" (horizontal axis). A topology is a spatial diagram or
topological space.
For example, atheists have low belief in both the Jesus of history and the Christ of faith, while orthodox Christians have high belief in both, and are separated from each other by scientists, agnostics and liberal Christians. The diagram explores how different ways of thinking (memes?) respond to the questions of whether a historical Jesus existed and how important is the idea of a Christ of faith. Size and overlap and location of the sets are contestable.
