It does burn people. And it really is funny. I've even accounted for the potential of liturgical material, so I still have nothing that would date the Pentateuch early than the Septuagint. It is very comical.

Even going through the New Testament, and dating backwards from Marcion and Luke, I've gotten all kinds of crazy assumptions about Mark and Paul being "primary sources." I've tried to debunk that stuff, particularly Paul because the case for Paul is just plain laughable. There are some atheists out there that are arguing from assumptions of early Pauline Letters or an early Mark. I don't mind them arguing from that position, though I just dismiss them if they pull that on me.

Oh yes, we've had the Pauline Epistle card raised at www.booktalk.org several times. There's a discussion on Doherty's "Jesus Neither God nor Man" where Paul as a credible source is just plain laid to waste.

I think that people are starting to catch on to that now the more the debate gets aired out. We also have a few older threads around here on Paul as well:

On this topic of videos and the SHP channel, as FTL mentioned, I am currently working on a video presentation of my popular essay "Please respect my religion!" It's essentially done, but I've got to do the soundtrack and tweak it here and there. This video will be a short freebie, but I'm also going to be producing a longer documentary about Christ Con that will be for sale.

In learning to make films myself, I'm making lemonade out of the lemon of our dear video friend/muse Alan Jones/Vega's sudden death.
